Shocking Pink is on a mission to support young women through their journey with breast cancer, and out the other side. We are on a mission to provide relevant support and assistance for young women consistent with our charitable purpose.
Breast cancer is New Zealand's third most common cancer and accounts for more than 600 deaths every year.
Financial Assistance
Because we know how hard it can be when you’re not working, down to one income or working reduced hours during treatment, we have allocated a special fund for emergency financial assistance. Whether you need help with travel costs, groceries, utility bills or those pricey specialised bras… fear not as there is somewhere to turn.
Support
Shocking Pink curates a popular Facebook group for young women affected by breast cancer in New Zealand. As at June 2014 we had just under 200 members, and it is growing by the day. The group is private, so only group members can see your posts.
Bowel Cancer New Zealand is a nationwide, patient-focused charity dedicated to beating bowel cancer through life-saving awareness, education, advocacy, research and support. Our goal is to reduce the impact of bowel cancer on New Zealanders and communities, and ultimately, to ensure that no more lives are lost to this silent killer.
