NZRDA provides opportunities for anyone with a disability to enjoy safe, healthy, stimulating, therapeutic horse riding and horse-related activities.
NZRDA’s vision is to Reach More Riders and Change More Lives
There are over 50 affiliated RDA groups with over 1,800 volunteers operating across New Zealand who serve over 3,200 children and adults with disabilities each year. These community groups provide interaction with horses to develop increased ability, independence and self-esteem for children and adults with physical, intellectual, emotional and social challenges.
Your donation can keep us training our volunteers. That's right, without volunteers, our programmes simply can't run. Riding for the Disabled has over 1,800 volunteers. That’s a lot of volunteers! We want to be able to run Volunteer Workshops for all of them.
If you do want to support RDA riders and horses, we would be over the moon if you made a donation to go towards volunteer training. Your donation helps local RDA groups all around the country to deliver high-quality, safe and effective life-changing health and wellbeing outcomes for our riders. Your donation helps us to run Volunteer Workshops. More volunteers mean more riders can get the help they deserve.
