Having a terminally ill child is worse than any of us could imagine so when you compound this with struggling with finances the odds are really stacked against you.
The Guardian Angels Charitable Trust is an approved and registered charity. There are no administration costs involved. All funds received go directly to providing goods and services for families with terminally ill children.
Guardian Angels concentration is at the grass roots level. Our families require basic necessities such as food, blankets, firewood, bill payments (e.g. power, phone) as well as other goods and services to ease them through the most traumatic time that anyone could ever face in life.
Some of our children do have cancer; however many do not and therefore do not have financial charities to access funds from. In situations such as respiratory, heart and neurological disease funding and support are virtually inaccessible.
The focus of Guardian Angels is to support the whole family and a very important and often forgotten part of this is the siblings of the sick child. These kids go through an extremely rough time and there is often little or no time for parents to attend to them with everything else that they are dealing with.
